Brewery news

Carlsberg Group has announced a number of changes in its executive committee.

Lars Lehmann has been appointed as the executive vice-president of its eastern European operations and managing director of Baltika Breweries in Russia.

Current executive vice-president of Eastern Europe, Jacek Pastuszka, will take over the same role for Western Europe.

Chris Warmoth, the present executive vice-president for Western Europe, has been named the new executive vice-president for group strategy, effective 1 May 2019.

Warmoth joined Carlsberg in January 2014 as the executive vice-president for the Asian region.

He has held several top roles in the brewery, and has played an important role in driving transformation within the organisation.

Lehmann joined the Carlsberg Group in 2003 and has held various leading portfolios within the group.

These include the role of vice-president commercial for Eastern Europe and the head of the export, license, and duty-free division.

In 2016, he became the managing director of Carlsberg Malaysia.

Managing director of Carlsberg Sweden, Ted Akiskalos, will take over Lehmann's role in Carlsberg Malaysia.

Pastuszka played an important role in stabilising the financial performance of the company's eastern European operations.

He joined the brewing group in 2009 as the managing director of Carlsberg Polska.

In 2011, he was appointed as the managing director of Carlsberg’s Norwegian subsidiary, Ringnes.
