A group of friends and neighbors, inspired by the pubs they spent time at while in the U.K., are opening the city of Montgomery's first craft brewery, WKRC TV Cincinnati reported on January 29.

MPH Brewing began construction on Jan. 6 and is hopes to open in Montgomery by late March. It's a project by Bill Cook, Bill Bolger, Tony Pishotti and Steve Tosh, longtime friends and neighbors in Montgomery.

The goal is to open a common room for the city of Montgomery, a place where the neighbors can get together, meet and enjoy a beer.
