Czech Republic: Zdeněk Lux is the new brew master of Staropramenc
Staropramen Brewery has a new brew master: Zdeněk Lux, according to Staropramen Brewery’s press centre, February 8.
Zdeněk Lux joined Pivovary Staropramen in 1995. Since then he has held various positions in the Quality Control departments of both Branнk and Staropramen, and has been involved in a number of key technical and technology projects. He was appointed Branнk’s brew master in May 2004.
In his new position, Zdeněk Lux will be responsible for managing production operations at Staropramen Brewery. “I’ve been working in the beer industry for twelve years now and I can hardly imagine a professional life for myself that doesn’t include brewing. Now I’m headed back to Staropramen Brewery where I spent a number of those years; it’s a place I know well,” says Zdeněk Lux.
Zdeněk Lux is a graduate of the Prague Institute of Chemical Technology. He is married and has two children. In his spare time, he enjoys his family, hiking, and cycling.
