Beer sales in Finland suffered a decline of 6.3% in the first quarter of the current year at 81.1 million litres, according to new statistics from the Finnish Federation of the Brewing and Soft Drinks Industry. However, Easter sales will be recorded in the next quartery figures as the holiday was late this year, according to the federation. That is why the Q1 figures do not necessarily reflect the trend for the spring as a whole, said the federation.
