Vietnam: Vietnam beer festival to start on Friday
Vietnamese beer lovers will hoist their steins at the Vietnam Beer Festival opening in Hanoi this Friday, Thanhnien News reported August 6.
The three-day festival’s chief organizer and chairman of the Vietnamese Association of Beer, Alcohol and Soft Drinks Nguyen Van Viet told a press conference Monday that the event would also provide customers with the opportunity to taste a variety of beers and met over 30 beer producers.
The event’s other organizers – the local Eastern Culture company and the Institute for Industrial Research – have donated VND100 million (US$6,211) to the Association of Orange Agent Victims Assistance for the occasion.
The Vietnam Exhibition Center will host the event until Sunday.
