UK: HGCA Cereals Quality Survey 2007 indicates lower barley specific weights

Initial results from the HGCA Cereals Quality Survey 2007 indicate the estimated specific weights of barley in all areas; at around 64.4 Kg/hl, currently below last season's GB average of 67.7 Kg/hl and the average of the previous three seasons of 67.1 Kg/hl, HGCA reported September 3.
