Finland: Finland's BasWare Corporation delivers invoice automation suite to Scottish & Newcastle Plc

Finnish financial processing software developer BasWare Corporation said that it has signed a significant agreement with the brewery group Scottish & Newcastle Plc for the delivery and implementation of its BasWare Invoice Automation suite, Johnnic Communications reported September 3.

The suite includes solutions for automated invoice processing as well as the BasWare KPI Reporting Tool for performance measurement.

There will be around 1,000 end users of the system within four countries and implementation will start in France in September 2007.

No financial information was provided.

BasWare is headquartered in Espoo, Finland. The company has more than 500 employees in Finland and the US, and reported net sales of approximately EUR60m in 2006. BasWare is listed on the Nordic Exchange in Helsinki.
