Prazske Pivovary, the Czech beer maker, a subsidiary of the Belgian brewing force, Interbrew, since 2000, will decide whether to change its name to Pivovary Staropramen this autumn, the Czech press reported. Prazske Pivovary controls the Staropramen, Branik, Ostravar and Vratislavice breweries. “The name change would reflect the high international profile of its lead export brand, Staropramen, which is a key brand in the Interbrew portfolio,” the company said.
