UK: Pubs accused of football price rises

Publicans were accused of hiking prices during big football matches, Scotsman reported October 30.

Glasgow landlords have been putting prices up during fixtures such as Scotland's Euro 2008 qualifiers, and the licensing board warned action would be taken if prices are raised for the Italy match on 17 November.
