UK: InBev’s vice president of marketing Devin Kelly has left the company

InBev’s vice president of marketing Devin Kelly has left the company, according to Morning Advertiser, December 12.

Kelly has held the top marketing position for 20 months and was responsible for the launch of Beck's Vier and the new Artois family in the UK.

He has been with the company for ten years in total.

Kelly is returning to the United States in February 2008.

He said: “I have loved my time here in the UK with InBev but for family reasons I have decided that home is where the heart is, and that means a return to the good old US.

“I leave behind a great bunch of people and a great bunch of brands. It will be hard to beat this job which must be one of the most exciting marketing posts in the UK, but the lure of the US for me and my family was just too strong in the end.”

InBev UK will start the search for a replacement marketing vice president immediately considering both internal and external candidates for the role.
