India: Barley futures may open higher on expected good demand from domestic brewers

Barley futures are likely to hit new contract highs on expected good demand for the commodity from domestic beermakers, according to Reuters, March 5.

The April barley contract ended down 0.26 per cent at Rs 1,068.4 per 100 kg, after hitting a contract high of Rs 1,077 during the day's trade.
