India: Barley opens up on high demand

Barley futures rose on good demand for the commodity from stockists and domestic beer-makers, analysts said, according to Reuters, March 26.

At 10:55 am, most-active May futures on NCDEX hit contract highs of Rs 1,162 per 100 kg, up 1.57 per cent from the previous session.
