India: Barley futures may fall on higher arrivals at the start of the winter harvest
Barley futures are likely to open lower on expectations of higher arrivals at the start of the winter harvest, analysts said, according to Reuters, April 2. However, strong demand from beer makers and stockists may support the futures later in the day, they said.
At close on Tuesday, the most-active May futures on NCDEX were quoted at 1,157.8 rupees per 100 kg, up 1.54 percent.
