Ukraine: Peter Chernyshov is acknowledged as the best manager of the beer industry in Ukraine

Following the results of 2007 Peter Chernyshov, General Director of the Group of Enterprises VVN Ukraine has been awarded a first place among managers of the beer and soft drinks industry, and a 23rd place in the general annual rating “TOP – 100, the media recently reported. The best top managers of Ukraine” that is conducted by the publishing house “Ekonomika” in the framework of the project “TOP - 100. Best companies of Ukraine rating”.

The authors of the research note that the owners of the company set a clear goal for Mr. Chernyshov - to get back the lost positions of the company on the market. “Judging by the indicators of the Group of Enterprises for the time of his management Chernyshov succeeded in doing so”, - said Irene Chernyavskaya, one of authors of the Rating.

Under the leadership of Peter Chernyshov, the Group of Enterprises of VVN accomplished in 2007 a number of projects that considerably enhanced the positions of the company by increasing the market share of VVN by 2.6 % compared to 2006 and made 20.4%. One of major successful projects fulfilled in 2007 was re-launching the basic brand “Slavutich”. Following the results of the year the volume of sales of this trade mark reached a record mark - «Slavutich» became brand No.4 on the market of Ukraine (against No.8 position in 2006). «Slavutich» had a 125% growth of sales.

Peter Chernyshov successfully manages a large company, supervises the work of three plants and thousands of employees. One of the undoubted merits of Peter is his ability to motivate the staff of the company to achieve high results.

Since 1999 Peter Chernyshov has occupied several positions in the companies of the Group of VVN, working at different times in three countries. In June 2006 Chernyshov was appointed by the Monitoring Council of the company as General Director of OJSC “Pivobezalkogolnyy kombinat «Slavutich» and OJSC “Lvovskaya pivovarnya”.

The rating “TOP - 100. The best top managers of Ukraine” is based on the estimates of personal, communicative, social, innovative, corporate efficiency of top-managers and also the financial efficiency of the companies they manage.
