India: GM Breweries board recommends 25% dividend

The board of directors of GM Breweries at its meeting held on Apr. 03, 2008 recommended a total dividend of 25% (normal dividend of 20% and a special dividend 5%), Iris reported April 4.

The company registered a 86.02% growth in net profit to Rs 43.90 million for the quarter ended December 2007 as compared with Rs 23.60 million for the corresponding quarter last year.Shares of the company closed down Rs 1.45, or 1.64%, at Rs 87.1. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE was 9,377.
