Denmark: Carlsberg shares moved to 'overweight' from 'equal weight'

Carlsberg shares were higher in quiet trading midmorning on a broker upgrade, Thomson Financial reported April 9.

Carlsberg was 2.0 percent higher at 647 crowns. Morgan Stanley has raised its recommendation for the brewer to 'overweight' from 'equal weight', according to traders, with a (ex-rights) target price of 750 Danish crowns.

In a note to clients, Morgan Stanley said Carlsberg looks best placed to benefit from a more robust performance of the brewers than many expect.
