Belgium: Inbev shares close lower on AmBev worse-than-expected first quarter predictions

Brussels shares were lower at the close, tracking Wall Street, with brewer Inbev leading the decliners, Thomson Financial reported April 22.

Inbev lost 2.41 euros or 4.04 percent amid rumours that its Latin American unit Companhia de Bebidas das Americas (AmBev) will post a worse-than-expected first quarter.
