India: United Breweries FY net shoots up to 640.10 million rupees, revenues rise

India's United Breweries Holdings Ltd. said full-year net profit more than doubled on the back of higher revenues, Thomson Financial reported April 21.

For the year to end March, the group's net profit rose to 640.10 million rupees from 252.30 million the previous year and revenues grew to 4.19 billion rupees from 2.78 billion rupees.

United Breweries Holdings ended Monday 1.91 percent up at 662.50 rupees on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex closed 1.57 percent up at 16,739.33.
