Germany: Hanover brewery set to open this year

A new brewery is expected to open in Hanover by the end of the year, according to Central Penn Business Journal, April 28. The first shipments of brewery equipment arrived last week at the site where Hanover Brewing Co. plans to begin operating within several months.

The delivery was a mixture of fermentation and storage tanks, including copper tanks used at Northfield Park racetrack in northern Ohio, and a stainless steel tank from the set of "The Drew Carey Show." Future shipments will include a new copper brewhouse from Germany.

Hanover Brewing Co will feature a restaurant, an outdoor beer garden, a beer hall for public festivals and private banquets, and a brewery featuring lagers and ales.
