Armenia: Demand for beer to reach the peak in 2008-2009

In 2008-2009 on the Armenian beer market will be registered the highest demand, the analysts reported June 2. According to National Statistic Service, beer production increased 14.2% in January-April 2008 and reached 23.32 thousand hectolitres.

“If seven years ago the beer consumption constituted 4 litres of beer per capita, now, this index increased more than 4 times”, according to Development Manager of OOO Ghiumiri Brewery, Arutiun Ghevorkian.
