Brussels. The Brewers of Europe are going to move to their new offices as of 21 August 2003. The NEW Brewers of Europe House will bring together the cultures of the 17 members of the European Brewers Associations, and will offer them a basis in Brussels.
“We are looking forward to moving into our very own Brewers of Europe House on Rue Caroly, where we will be closer to the European Institutions”, explained the Secretary-General of The Brewers of Europe, Rodolphe de Looz-Corswarem.
The Brewers of Europe have also decided to replace the old name “Confédération des Brasseurs du Marche Commun” and the CBMC acronym with the new official name “The Brewers of Europe”.
The Brewers of Europe was founded in 1958 and it represents the national brewing associations of the 15 European Union Member States, plus Switzerland and Norway.
