Denmark’s brewery, The Danish Brewery Group, is to expand its activity in Eastern and central Europe. To this purpose it intends to increase beer production, manufactured by Lithuanian brewery Kalnapilio-Tauro grupe, based in Panevezis.

Kalnapilio-Tauro grupe sold about 38.84 million litres of beer during January-August 2003, 13.7% less than in the same period last year, when the company owned 23.2% of the Lithuanian beer market.
