United Kingdom: Budvar Yeast Beer for the first time available outside the Czech Republic

Budvar Yeast Beer will be available in the UK for the first time this August, Morning Advertiser communicated on August, 20.

The beer is only available in kegs and has never been released outside the Czech Republic before because it is unpasteurised and therefore has a short shelf life.

“Even back in the Czech Republic we only allow it to be sold in 50 nominated outlets, which are chosen by us for their quality of cellar and dispense management,” said Budvar UK technical director Tony Perkins.

The brew will be available as part of a beer festival at the famous White Horse in London’s Parsons Green, it is reported.

Besides Budvar Yeast Beer, the line-up features 20 Belgian cask ales.
