Ukraine: Barley harvest delayed by excessive rainfall
Rains in Ukraine's southern regions are affecting the 2010 barley harvesting and the outlook for crop is likely to be reduced as well, UkrAgroConsult agriculture consultancy communicated on July, 5.
“Rains made harvesting very difficult in southern regions. UkrAgroConsult may reduce its barley crop estimate by 200-300,000 tonnes down to 10.8-11 mln tonnes in the next forecast," the consultancy said in a statement.
