The Czech Republic: Staropramen, Plzeňský Prazdroj report decrease in production in 2010
Czech brewer Staropramen's beer production fell 7 percent to 2.8 million hectolitres in 2010, The Prague Post reported on March, 31.
Plzeňský Prazdroj, the country's largest beer producer, has also announced a drop in output of 6 percent last year.
Heineken and Budějovický Budvar have not yet released figures for 2010, but K Brewery reportedly produced 900,000 hectoliters, up 18 percent.
The market as a whole fell 7.9 percent, it is estimated.
