World: AB InBev shareholders approve dividend, elects new members to board

World’s largest brewer AB InBev said its General Shareholders Meeting of 26 April 2011 approved the annual accounts 2010 ended December 31, 2010, as well as the gross dividend of EUR 0.80 proposed by the Board of Directors, RTTNews reports.

The shares would trade ex-coupon as of 27 April 2011 and dividends would be payable as from 2 May 2011.

Further, the Shareholder Meeting also resolved to renew the mandates of Stéfan Descheemaeker as Director, as well as of Kees Storm and Peter Harf as independent Directors. In addition, Paul Cornet de Ways Ruart was newly elected as Director and Olivier Goudet as independent Director.
