Romania: New president appointed at SABMiller’s subsidiary in Romania
Andrew Highcock has been appointed the new president of SABMiller’s Ursus Breweries, replacing Gary Whitlie who has decided to retire after spending 27 years with the world’s No. 2 brewer, Business Review reported on September, 29.
Highcock has previously worked for Pivovary Topvar, a company in Slovakia owned by SABMiller. Before joining the global brewer, he worked for Maxxium Worldwide as president of the company’s operations in Canada and managing director for South-Eastern Europe.
Highcock has also worked Diageo in France, UK and Central Europe, holding various positions in the sales, marketing and management departments.
