USA, ME: Shipyard Brewing launches a new seasonal ale

US-based Shipyard Brewing Company has added a new seasonal beer Applehead to its Pumpkinhead line, Drinks Business Review reported on December, 1.

The new beer, Shipyard Applehead, is a wheat ale, which features an apple aroma and subtle cinnamon flavor. It will be available in 6-packs, 12-packs and on draft.

First brewed in November 2011, the beer will be available from December through March at a price range of $8.99 - $9.99 for 6-packs and $16.99 - $17.99 for 12-packs.

Shipyard Applehead will be available first in New England, and other markets across the US will follow in January and February.

Applehead will be on tap at pubs in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, this week, and on store shelves from December. Other New England states will have beer on draft at select locations starting December.
