USA, GA: Sweetwater Brewing Company to create a special 15th anniversary ale

February 17 will mark 15 years since SweetWater Brewing Company officially sold its first drop of beer from its original brewery on Fulton Industrial Blvd, local media reported on February, 10.

Fast forward 15 years, and the infamous Atlanta-based brewery is listed as the 27th largest craft brewery in the nation and growing faster than ever before.

SweetWater went back to its roots to create the special 15th anniversary ale. Big Kahuna and Co-Founder Freddy Bensch invited back original Brewmaster and Co-Founder Kevin McNerney to help recreate a version of their original ESB recipe, which they appropriately titled 15 Years of Heady Beers.

SweetWater Brewing Company is an Atlanta‐based craft brewery specializing in aggressive West Coast style beers. SweetWater’s brews are unpasteurized and designed to be consumed fresh so distribution is limited to the Southeast. The award‐winning lineup of year‐round brews includes SweetWater 420, IPA, Exodus Porter, Blue, LowRYEder and Georgia Brown. SweetWater also features a Catch and Release series of beers available on a limited basis throughout the year, and an experimental, one‐time‐only Dank Tank series.
