Canada, BC: Russell Brewing launches Nectar of the Gods Wheat Wine Ale
Small batch brewery Russell Brewing has unveiled a new barrel-aged, limited edition, single-batch beer Nectar of the Gods Wheat Wine Ale, The Drinks Business Review reported on March, 5.
The beer was aged in Tennessee whiskey barrels for around four months, which provided layers of flavor complexity to the beer.
After the barrel-aging, it was bottle-conditioned resulting in natural carbonation and sediment.
The entire batch of Nectar of the Gods was pre-sold and is currently available at select private retailers in Metro Vancouver and surrounding area in 650ml bottles.
