UK: Barley exports total 521 thousand tonnes in July - January

Latest release from HMRC puts UK January wheat exports at 219 thousand tonnes, bringing season total so far (Jul-Jan) to 1.798 mln tonnes, HGCA reported this week. The Netherlands was the largest destination in January, taking 75 thousand tonnes of UK wheat.

January barley export stood at 65 thousand tonnes, giving a Jul-Jan cumulative total of 521 thousand tonnes.

January rapeseed exports are reported at 3 thousand tonnes, bringing the season total so far to 500 thousand tonnes. Rapeseed exports have been supported by a lack of available seed in central Europe.
