Mexico: Heineken beer operations not affected by earthquake of March, 20

Dutch brewer Heineken NV is not affected by the earthquake in Mexico, where it runs operations, a spokesman was quoted as saying by Dow Jones on March, 20.

"There have been no casualties among our staff and no property has been destroyed," the spokesman said.

Southern Mexico was struck by a 7.4 magnitude earthquake earlier on March, 20, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

In 2010, Heineken bought Mexican brewer FEMSA in a EUR3.8 billion deal.
