Canada, ON: Granite Brewery presents the Black Gold Stout Series

The Toronto location of the Granite Brewery marked St. Patrick’s Day in a big way this year, as it presented the Black Gold Stout Series featuring six unique flavoured stouts, Canadian Beer News reported on March, 15.

On March, 17, casks of Chocolate Orange Stout and Vanilla Stout were tapped in the Granite’s tied house restaurant, as well as two kegs chosen from the available Chocolate Stout, Coffee Stout, Chocolate Chili Stout and Maple Stout. The two remaining kegs were swapped in as each of the first two ran out. All six beers were based on the same batch of Granite’s Keefe’s Irish Stout, with flavouring added after the primary fermentation.
