Ecuador: Cerveceria Nacional approves $94 mln cash dividend for 2011

Shareholders of Cerveceria Nacional CN SA, Ecuador’s biggest brewer, approved a $94 million cash dividend, or $4.59 per share, for the 2011 earnings period, Bloomberg reported on March, 27.

The Guayaquil-based company, a unit of SABMiller Plc, has already paid shareholder’s $2.60 per share and will distribute the remaining $1.99 per share, it said in a statement published on the Quito securities exchange’s website.

The company did not say when it would make the additional payment.
