Madagascar: Nouvelle Brasserie de Madagascar launches beer in 65 cl bottles

Nouvelle Brasserie de Madagascar (NBM) has launched new 65 cl packagings for a number of its brands to face off its rival Castel, L'Express de Madagascar reported on April, 19.

The format has been so far associated only with Castel’s THB brand.

NBM, with a total brewing capacity of 110 000 hl, holds 9% of the beer market in Madagascar.

The island’s per capita beer consumption is less than 5 litres, versus 25 litres in Mauritius.
