USA, MN: Cold Spring Brewing opens new brewhouse
Central Minnesota's Cold Spring Brewing Co. made a lot of cheap beer over the years. Now it's hoping a new $12 mln brewhouse could put some bad memories to rest, Kare11.com reported on June, 17.
Many of the 200-plus employees should get a boost in self-esteem. A gleaming five-tank, computerized system will replace an antiquated two-vessel setup in an old building and - perhaps most important - produce three new craft beers as its signature offerings.
This week, crews will begin bottling Bitter Neighbor black India pale ale, Lost Trout brown ale and Rise to the Top cream ale. They will be available in bars and restaurants beginning June, 28, and in stores June, 29.
