USA, NY: Ithaca Beer Co. to move to a new facility

Ithaca Beer Company is seeing triple - with modifications to their new brewing facility, brew pub and beer garden approved, The Ithaca Journal reported on July, 18.

The beer company plans to relocate to the new facility by August, 31.

Beer is already being brewed at the new complex.

When the new establishment is opened, the company will have beer tasting and serve pints, according to Ithaca Beer owner Dan Mitchell.

The planned restaurant won’t be open until sometime in mid-October, Mitchell said.

Mitchell said the new facility will be a substantial upgrade from Ithaca Beer’s current facility.

“It will have a nice bar to come up and get a pint. We’ll have a good selection of beers, much more space, a much nicer view of our brewing system … and we’re in the process of building a really beautiful beer garden, which will be really nice in early fall.”

“I think when people come and see it they’ll be able to see what we’re all about,” Mitchell said.

He said the old facility was rented, and now the company has a place to truly call its own.
