Canada, AB: Amber’s Brewing relocates and teams up with Hog’s Head Brewing
Amber’s Brewing has found a new home after being forced into a sudden relocation by an unexpected rent increase – and in a move that will likely save even more money, it won’t be operating on its own, Canadian Beer News reported on July, 30.
Instead of continuing as an independent operation, Amber’s will be sharing space in a St. Albert business park with Hog’s Head Brewing, a new start-up that is indicated to be affiliated with alcohol import agency Spider Beverage Company.
Amber’s founder Jim Gibbon said that the Amber’s brands will officially be brewed under contract by Hog’s Head, and once the final permits are in place and new facility is up and running, the first beer to be brewed there will be Amber’s Lunch Pail Ale.
It’s not yet known what brands and styles Hog’s Head will be brewing and releasing under its own name.
