USA, NY: Druthers Brewing Company opens in Saratoga Springs

Druthers Brewing Company in Saratoga Springs opened to the public this week, Timesunion.com reported on July, 31.

The brew pub includes a bar, dining room, an upper-level production area and an outdoor garden. The brewery plans to offer four or five of its own craft beers along with guest taps from other regional breweries. Druthers Brew Pub owner Chris Martell said the brewery should have ten of its own beers available by October. After production reaches capacity, the brewery will produce about 2,000-2,400 kegs, or approximately 1,000-1,200 barrels of beer, a year.

George de Piro, formerly master brewer at the Albany Pump Station, is the master brewer.
