France: Frédéric Renauld appointed president & CEO of Brasseries Kronenbourg
Carlsberg-owned French brewer Brasseries Kronenbourg has named Frédéric Renauld to the post of president & CEO, French media reported earlier this week.
The move will see Renauld assume the position in place of Thomas Amstutz on an interim basis. Amstutz, who moved from Carlsberg's Feldschlösschen subsidiary in Switzerland to Kronenbourg four years ago, is returning to head up the Swiss brewer once more.
Renaud, who has been VP of finance at Kronenbourg since April 2007, started in the role late last week and will hold it until a permanent successor to Amstutz is appointed. He will retain his financial role in the meantime.
Amstutz replaces Thomas Metzger, who has moved to become CFO of Carlsberg Supply Company, a supply organisation for Europe announced by the brewer late last year that is set to begin operations in the final quarter of 2012.
