USA, OR: Ninkasi Brewing Co. to triple production capacity

Eugene, Oregon’s Ninkasi Brewing Co. is set to begin an expansion project that will triple production capacity, Shanken Daily News reported on October, 15.

The multi-structure expansion includes a 7,800-square-foot warehouse and cold storage local distribution facility, 28,000-square-foot offices and a 26,000-square-foot production facility.

Ninkasi expects the project to be finished in late 2014 and to increase production from its current 95,000 barrels per year to 295,000 barrels.

The expansion is the company’s fourth since it began brewing in 2006.

Ninkasi’s range of beers includes four core selections - Total Domination IPA, Believer Double Red Ale, Tricerahops Double IPA and Oatis Oatmeal Stout - as well as a number of limited release and seasonal beers.
