France: More interest in malting than feed barley this week

The French malting barley market is a little bit more animated now as compared to the past several weeks, La Depeche reported on December, 5.

The interest in spring barley varieties of crop 2012 is not very significant as the difference between malting and feed barley values is not really big. Winter barley, on the contrary, sees much more buying than selling interest.

The feed barley market is very calm. Only several small-scale deals have been closed this week, industry sources said.
