The Netherlands: Heineken’s CEO voted favourite chief executive of 2012
Heineken's chief executive Jean-Francois van Boxmeer has been voted favourite chief executive of 2012 by members of the Dutch investors association VEB, DutchNews.nl reported on January, 2.
Van Boxmeer, who is Belgian, took 35% of the vote. Last year, he managed to ensure Heineken took over Asian brewery group APB, and that Heineken's share price rose 40% over the year.
Eric Meurice from ASML and Paul Polman of Unilever were the runners up.
