USA, MI: HopCat, Brewery Vivant and Grand Rapids Brewing Co. release collaborative Ménage à Trois brews
Three heavy hitters in Grand Rapids' craft beer scene are collaborating on a special trio of brews and a strolling-dinner event, mlive.com reported on January, 31.
HopCat, Grand Rapids Brewing Co. and Brewery Vivant released their Ménage à Trois beers on January, 31 in their taprooms. Each brewery offers a variation on the same recipe.
GRBC's is an India Brown Ale using American Ale yeast, and clocks in at 7.7 percent ABV. Vivant's is a 6.7 percent Imperial Brown Ale using their signature Belgian yeast. And HopCat's is a 6.5 percent English Brown made with Burton Ale yeast.
The strolling dinner will allow attendees to sample all three beers at each location.
Each attendee will get a Ménage à Trois chalice. The event will also feature bourbon-barrel-aged versions of the brew.
