USA, NY: Genesee Brewing brings back Bock Beer
Genesee Bock Beer is back on the shelves for a limited time, an annual rite of passage from winter to spring for the Genesee Brewing Co., officials announced on March, 13.
The beer is available at selected markets on tap, and in grocery and convenience stores, officials said. It is among the most popular beers brewed at the St. Paul Street facility.
“People love the taste of Genesee Bock Beer,” brew master Mike Mueller said in a statement. “Like all of our Genesee beers, experienced brew masters make Bock with the best ingredients to create the highest quality product available for the price.”
Genny Bock is part of the Rochester brewery’s Heritage Series, which includes 12-Horse Ale. It has been re-introduced each year since 1951.
“Genny Bock has become a favorite among beer drinkers who eagerly await its arrival every spring,” brand manager Janine Schoos said.
“We know fans appreciate the attention to quality and brewing tradition. We’ve even heard stories of fans stocking up so they can enjoy it year-round.”
