Canada, ON: Block Three Brewing to open in St. Jacobs this summer

The Southwestern Ontario village of St. Jacobs is famous as a tourist destination in the area, and starting this summer, one of its newest attractions will be a local brewery, Canadian Beer News reported on April, 2.

Block Three Brewing is a new start-up from local beer club members Derek Lebert, Graham Spence, Phil Hipkiss and Bryan Maher, with the latter serving as head brewer.

Located in St. Jacobs, Block Three will launch with a single year-round brand – style and name still to be decided – and will also produce an ever-changing rotation of seasonals and one-off beers, available in 500 ml bottles and growlers at the brewery, and on draught at select craft beer friendly bars.

Block Three is aiming for a July 1st opening.
