USA, MN: Excelsior Brewing Company expands

Having launched with three flagships (XCLR Pale Ale, Big Island Blonde Ale and Bitteschlappe Brown Ale), Excelsior Brewing Company increased its range of choices to include six different beers and keeps expanding. The brewery's post-flagships include Bridge Jumper Strong Pale Ale, Helios Hefeweisen, Sunburn Cherry Wheat on tap, lakeminnetonka.patch.com reported on May, 29.

When asked about the mission of the Excelsior Brewing Company, Ben Flattum, the owner, said that it hasn’t changed since day one: it’s still there “for the guy who wants to sample a nice craft beer."

When asked where can the Brewery’s beer be sampled, Ben Flattum said:
“Anywhere with a tap line.”

These taplines run all the way from Excelsior to just before downtown Minneapolis, offering customers a variety of opportunities to get acquainted with the Brewery’s beers.

Amongst all this success, the Excelsior Brewing Company plans to expand in the fall, says Flattum. Included in this expansion will be doubling the current tank capacity and adding a packaging line.
