USA & Mexico : Baja Brewing starts distribution in the USA market

Mexico-based Baja Brewing has expanded its U.S. presence with the launch of its flagship Cabotella ale across Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Texas, Shanken News Daily reported on October 3.

Cabotella is billed as a golden, medium-bodied blonde ale. The 5.5%-abv entry will be offered in Arizona and New Mexico via Southern Wine & Spirits, in Colorado via Baroness and in Texas via both L&F and Intwine Distributors.

Established in 2007 in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur, Baja offers eight core beers, as well as variety of seasonals, and reported a total production of 2,400 barrels for 2012.
