USA, OR: Breakside Brewery launching first bottled seasonal

Portland-based Breakside Brewery is launching its first bottled seasonal with the rollout of Big Country, a new, limited edition, Shanken News Daily reported on December 2.

Billed as a winter ale, Big Country is inspired by traditional German starkbiers and weinnachtbiers and features notes of orange, cocoa, candied fruit and toast.

The 7.8%-abv entry is currently available through February 1, in 22-ounce bottles and on draft throughout the Oregon, Washington and Idaho markets, as well as in British Columbia.

Big Country joins Breakside’s existing 22-ounce bottled offerings, which include its Pilsner, IPA, Alan From The Wood and Wanderlust IPA expressions.
