USA, WY & CO: Freedom’s Edge Brewing Company opens second location in Fort Collins
Brewery news

On January 3, Freedom’s Edge Brewing Co., a Cheyenne, WY-based microbrewery, opened a second location in Fort Collins, as the Coloradoan reported.

According to co-owner Tim Moore, the brewery’s expansion will start with a “small, community-focused pilot brew pub in Old Town” that will likely open by the end of February.

“We also have plans to open a larger production brewery later in the year in Fort Collins,” Moore added.

Since February 2012, Freedom’s Edge has been brewing signature beers, such as their 1890 IPA, and seasonal beers, such as the Black Raspberry Lambic, in Fort Collins.

According to the brewery’s website, the new Fort Collins location “will be a true small-batch craft brewery that will serve as our pilot brewery, so lots and lots of experimentation.”

“We will also be heavily involved with the home brewing community, allowing local brewers to come in and brew alongside of us.”
